Rtv2 liquid silicone rubber is two-component and room temperature silicone rubber. It contains condensation cure and addition cure both type. Condensation cure silicone rubber Part A is a flowable liquid, part B is the catalyst. The part and part B mixing ratio are 100:2. Addition cure silicone rubber. Part A is a liquid and platinum catalyst inside. The part A and part B mixing ratio is 1:1. Both condensation cure and addition cure silicone rubber are good for moulds making.
They are good to know as the moulding silicone rubber to make moulds and duplicate some objects, such as resin gifts and plaster crafts, concrete sculpture …. they can duplicate extremely intricate designs of the architectural parts for detail as moulds.
